it is fun! you should join the hoop team too! (but i think you may have to set up your sparkpage first before you can join teams... not positive)

1200 is too little if you're active at all, yeah. if you hoop for like 10 minutes and have a desk job and don't walk much, it's ok, but if you hoop more than that, walk around some, you might want to shoot for a bit more...

you can set your nutrition tracker to communicate with your fitness tracker so that it accounts for how many calories you've burned in how many you can eat.

I have found that hula hooping is a lot of fun! So I am sticking to it. And I have been eating around 1200 calories a day.. Is that too small?

hey! so glad i found your post :) i'm also starting hula-hooping, and i do yoga regularly. have you been tracking your food intake and calories burned? most people go for about a 500-calorie per day deficit between the two in order to lose a pound a week (3,500 calories).

the best tools here, in my opinion, are friends and teams. you're certainly welcome to join ours, linked in my sig below, which is a chatty group who sticks to one main board and talks about everything.

good for you for not giving up. you'll figure out what works soon! just use the great articles and tracking tools and community here!

Hello everyone! :) As you all know, I have just joined this and I am really excited to be apart of it but I need help!! I have been trying to lose some weight for a couple months now and so far nothing is helping. Do I need to eat more calories? I have been hulahooping and just started yoga and squats today and I am making sure I dont quit. I always give up when it gets rough. Not this time.
