Try not to look upon this as a restart or a start over, instead look upon your whole weight loss effort as a journey. You have stopped to take a rest and now you have got back in your car, a bus, or a train to continue your journey to your destination. Taking a break and resuming is much better thinking than mucking up and restarting - you are not restarting - you are continuing after a brief stop off or a rest.
