My doctor tells me I have diabetes. Not a surprise, given my height, weight and habits, but a shock knowing it's true. I don't know where to start. It's pretty easy to do the blood thing, although sometimes I feel like a turnip and I've already gone through four weeks of dip strips trying to get enough of a drop of blood to meter.
Next I have to concentrate on eating. Or not eating.
Anybody else new at this?
