Another idea is to take an average of your calorie intake at the end of the week. If your average is within your calorie range, then that's more important than whether or not you went over one or two days that week, since what we do over time is much more important than what happens one day. It's what we do consistently that really matters; we all have days where we go over every so often. One way to keep your weekly average in check is to try to eat at the lower end of your range for a couple days to make up for going over one day.
