Hi Talise! Nice to meet you!
Looks like everyone has been giving you great advice. I can offer support and belief that you can do it. I'm only 30 yrs old and twice my body weight for my height so I know how you feel. My knees are bad too, and the list of problems is long too, oi vey!
But everyday should be a beautiful first day. Looks like others have given you great advice. I'm starting slow and encouraging my family to support me by taking charge. I've changed out lots of snacks, done things like cut them in half and eat more portions throughout the days. I find positive things to read everyday, and love all the articles here when things don't seem like they're working out for me.
Do you like walking? Dancing? Don't track by scales alone. You can even create a chart by measuring your body figure. My sister in law did a cleanse and judged more by how loose clothes started to feel as the weeks went by.
Why do you want to be healthier? For me, I've made a bucket list goal and you might relate to this one: to be in better shape to be happier around family AND when you're by yourself. A healthy body leads to a healthy state of mind.
You're in the right place. I've come to see this community as people who know what its like to see failure not as an end, but as something that truly pushes you to find your inner strength.
You can do it! Moms can do anything, so I have faith in you! :) All the best!
