My hubby and I are starting the 8 diet on Monday. We did it a while ago and had some great results. The love of my life has become fluffier since the last time around so we have been doing the 8 minute arms and legs before starting.
Okay, he's a lot fluffier and sooo much more resistant to exercise. I talked him into doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred for a whole six days. He didn't like the jumping jacks, jump rope and anything remotely close to cardio.
Any good laid back cardio out there? To be in the healthy range he needs to lose between 40-50 pounds which makes him balk at anything too bouncy. (Most of his weight is in his teddy bear tummy)

Hi everyone! My name is Jackie. I began the 8-hour diet on Monday (April 15). My goal is to follow the program from Mon-Thurs, 9AM-5PM. (I work from 7:20AM-2:20PM, so that window is perfect for my schedule and lifestyle. I don't own a scale at this time, so I measure my waist to determine if I have gained or lost weight. Sunday morning my waist measured 36.5". Today, it was 36". That was exciting for me. This is a plan I can do and live with. I also read "The Plan" and was considering it, but it was too complicated and overwhelming for me. However, I did discover what my reactive foods are and try to avoid them as much as possible. The 8-Hour diet is doable for me...I'm encouraged!
