5 pounds is better than nothing! Just like KHK218 says, everyone's body reacts different. When I first started SP back at November I only lost 1-2 kilos in the first 2/3 months! All I can say is patience is also important for changing your lifestyle!

Hi! I think 5 pounds is great! Every body reacts to a change in lifestyle differently. Some don't lose at all in the beginning and some even gain, which is really frustrating. Don't let it get you down-- focus on increasing your fitness and strength and eating healthy. Try and not get too attached to the numbers on the scale (I know, easier written than done). If you're eating less and exercising more, the weight will continue to go down. :)

Have fun!

Great to have you here! (Smile) My suggestions to you is to have a great time and enjoy yourself--walk for at least 30 minutes three times a week--and set your goal and drink plenty of water. But most of all have fun and enjoy your experience here at SP. GBU (Smile)
