OK, here goes. I'm Pat, from Pa, 62, have COPD, HBP, don't exerise, hate all this healthy food and am trying to decide whether to die happy or to die healthy! My husband and I are both picky eaters and things like peppers, tomatos, cukes, zucchini(any squash) are out of the question. We love to eat out! Ready for this?????? Usually at all you can eat bufftets! Yeah, like I'm going to go there and eat salad! I feel like I'm defeated before I even get started! The nurse at the Dr's office said, Well, you've only lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks. I guess I was supposed to lose more. I am eating Cabbage soup OFTEN. It's made of low sodium low fat chick. broth, low sodium tom juice,
celery, onion and carrots.
Can any one help me, please? I need to make better progress in the next 2 Wks.
Also, how do you determine the nutritional values like my cabbage soup? There's no measuring at all....... alot of just dumping stuff into the slow cooker! I'm almost ready use some to the premade meals in the frozen food section. Looking forward to hearing from you. I've been browsing the site today. Man, there sure is a lot to learn here.....even for this "old dog"!
