I will tell you that if you don't eat enough calories in the day, your body reacts by gaining weight. Very important to try and hit your calories per day. It is hard for me to stay within my calorie goals, I always am hungry. :(

You can get through this obstacle. Just remember why you are doing this, remember how good you will feel when you hit your goal. Remember how awful you felt when you were heavier. These are things that I have to keep telling myself. Chin up. You can and will do this. It will be an awesome feeling when you finally hit your goal. It may take a while, but everything takes time.

Hi Theresa,
Don't give up. It is a lot of hard work. I have just started today and I am excited yet nervous. My goal is to use my eliptical a few times a week and simply watch what I eat. What I am finding difficult is all the "little" calories that I don't usually think of. Like - butter in the frying pan, or milk in my coffee. It is difficult eating healthy and time consuming. Please don't give up. It will all be worth in. We all have plateaus (sp). Slow and steady wins the race. Best of luck to you. emoticon
