Hello everyone! Great and informative site!
I can't figure out what I am doing wrong...I cannot lose! I have lost in years past, i was down to 180 two years ago. Gained it all back after losing my dad, then my mom two months later, stress of selling the house, taking care of her affairs etc. stress eating, the weight came right back on.
I just turned 50, I am 5'10 and currently weigh 229. I am eating healthy. Right portions, low fat, low carbs, good protein etc.. Lots of fruit, veggies, green smoothies, chicken, fish, increased my water. I am following weight watchers, always within my points.
Riding my encumbant bike, 3 miles 3-4 days a week and just started a strength exercise routine.
If I am getting my points in, i dont think I am eating too much, but perhaps exercising too little? From Sept till now, I have lost only 5 lbs.!!! I had all my blood work done and everything was good.
Suggestions of what to try to wake up my metabolism?? Never had this problem before. I have always lost weight.
