Hi Sue
I am scheduled for gastric sleeve surgery in mid April. Needless to say, I am nervous and anxious at the same time. I am 63 years old and 230 pounds. I am tired of being overweight and want to get fit. I would love to hear your story and get some encouragement from you since you have gone down this path. I live in Louisiana and my insurance will not pay so I am self pay.
My husband says he would not do it but will support me He says it will be hard and he does not want to encourage me because I will blame him if something goes wrong.
Hope to hear from you.

I am returning to Spark People after a few years absence. I had a gastric sleeve procedure in October. I would like to be able to hear from others who have had a bariatric procedure. Hearing about what foods they are eating, meal plans, and emotional support would be great. Are there any of you out there?
Summer's not over yet! There's still plenty of time to tone up and bust out that swimsuit for one last hurrah. Get results in just 15 minutes per week with this plan--no excuses!
