Thanks guys! Commitment is definitely what it is going to take. There is so much information here I just really didn't know where to start. It may take me a while to get things going, but I'm ready to start making the changes to feel better!

So sorry to hear about your loss..
It is hard to care about yourself enough to make changes.
but getting into the social media portion of Spark People has helped me.
I even have a Local team that have meet ups at a local Mall.
So give this site a total commitment with a Spark Page..

I first started with SparkPeople in January 2011. My husband passed away suddenly in April 2011. I've tried several times to get back on track but nothing consistent. I was never really much on cooking and my husband and I ate out a lot. I would like to get some ideas on cooking for one, both healthy and on a budget. I appreciate any suggestions.
