I decided to sign up at Sparkpeople! Again! I joined years ago, lost about 50 pounds, got frustrated with the amount of time that tracking took (plus my job & writing gigs), and quit. BAD DECISION! I gained almost all of the weight back!

Good for you for passing on the treat. I don't think it is bad to treat yourself once in a while, but it is too easy for that "once in a while" to become "often"!

My 10 yr old struggles with gaining quickly but we have always just stressed healthy choices. He came up with a grapes for a night snack and actually persuaded me outside tonight. Small steps that made for good decisions.

Looked at my macros and realized that trying to strictly limit carbs wasn't working for me, so changed them up to a more moderate carb-protein ratio. More sustainable.

I EXERCISED! It became late in the day and I still failed to exercise due to various things happening throughout my day. This is not what I had planned and I truly wanted to achieve my goal for the day. So....off I went to my treadmill....early evening and I did 70 minutes on my treadmill. I wanted to do more....but I had things to do! However....I DID IT...I met my exercise goal for the day and then some!
