yoghurt w/honey and chopped nuts

snacks are great in moderation and nothing to fear, just remember to track them and don't keep them in arm's reach.

I now have a go to snack, something I would have never thought I would ever eat YOUGURT, I love this stuff can not get enough.. Mix it with fruit smoothies uses it in meals like meatloaf, I love Yougurt!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

A handful of nuts and a banana, 6oz yogurt, Luna Bars, string cheese and grapes, peanut butter and banana on a tortilla, hummus and veggies, I could go on and on!

I eat raw carrots when I have the munchies and drink a cup of green tea. When I have a sweet tooth I eat grapes. If it will be more than 3-5 hours between meals I grab light string cheese. Lean protein, low carbs and starch.

I love sweat. Its my fat crying. When I workout I wear black. It's a funeral for my extra pounds. I love to feel pain. Pain is weakness leaving my body.

Grapes are definitely a go-to.

In a sweet tooth pinch - 5 Ginger Snaps (130 cal). Also, those 40 cal chocolate fudgesicles - 80 cal for a pair. When I am really hurting, those do the trick.

My 'go-to snacks" I pack several raw veggie packs, quart sized bags, at beginning of week. Carrots, radishes, peas, celery, cherry tomatoes, cabbage chunks & hard eggs-separate, grab 1 pack & 2 eggs & put in my ice pack lunch pail &sometimes a 100 calorie pack Trader Joes, lite popcorn & I am off & running! I work at home, so I also use this for lunch sometimes, too! I eat about 7 cups of raw veggies a day... so these packs REALLY are convenient for me! Hope this helps someone, too! emoticon

Today, I'm zooming! Working Packing for 10 day driving trip (health foods) I'll be walking A lot! Seeing many friends! Seeing the Wild animal park, the ocean, Disneyland, a FUN vacation! emoticon LUCK bird is traveling w/ me! emoticon He LOVES Christmas music, the sound track from POLAR EXPRESS emoticon & Perry Como, he also likes the music from the movie "ENCHANTED", (good thing, it is my FAVORITE movie of all time!)

I hope your adventure in SparkLand is SPECTACULAR! Keep on keeping on! emoticon

I have homemade granola that I made from a Sparkpeople recipe. I put it in snack size baggies and bring one to work with me. It's delicious and nutritious as well. I modified it to my and my family's tastes - everyone loves it.
