20, pregnant with my first child. I was in a car accident at 6 months along and broke my ankle. the doctor put a cast on me to my hip because I was pregnant. on the couch almost 6 weeks, no real exercise there, lol. then had second son 3 days less than I year from first. first one gained 50 pounds lost 15, then gained back 15 with 2nd and lost it. with third I came back down to starting weight. now at 150, fourth son, I only gained 5 pounds the whole pregnancy. he weighed 7 lbs13 oz. biggest one. rest were under 6 poiunds. then life because about them and I got lost . now I am found, I am working on me.

When I was 8 I got very sick and was placed on steroids daily for 6 months, gaining almost 100 lbs. I was limited in my ability to exercise because of my sickness, spending most of that year in the hospital. I have lost weight over the years, but always find it comes back when I stop being strict with my food and exercise efforts.
If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results.
Young adulthood...probably early 20's, after I got married. He still loves me though--25 years and over 100 pounds heavier (well, I was when I started....I'm about 70 lbs heavier than my skinny high school size now and 50 lbs from goal).

I've never really had serious weight issues, I was pretty underweight as a child. As an adult in my later 30's the weight was creeping on so I took action so I would not have to lose a lot of weight. I've lost about 15-20 pounds and keep it off with eating properly and doing exercise~

As far back as I can remember... Prob started around the time I was 6-7 years old... I was abit bigger then the other kids but they all saw it and had no mercy like most kids... Bit it got out of control when I broke my wrist at 10 yreas old and couldn't take part in my dance school, so went to watch to learn and the new teacher basically came up to me and said 'Why do you even bother coming? You can't dance plus even if you couldn't you're too overweight and stand out against the other girls' - That was it, I felt like a fat nobody!!!
Around 10 or so I got chunky, We moved to be closer to my grandparents after an illness one had, and hey were always giving us homemade cookies, soda, and sweets galore, and being a kid, I never turned it down.
Age 9-10. I started emotional/compulsive eating late at night while my already-divorced parents were in a year-long custody battle in the courts. I gained about 40lb in less than a year on a 5'2" frame. You can see the pictures of me in the photo album change-- age 9, skinny and happy and jumping rope on the front porch. Age 10, standing at the bus stop on the first day of 5th grade, looking sullen and really chubby.
