My first NSV was just realizing that I had that spark again, and was diligently tracking all of my intake (always a success factor for me). The next one was noticing that I could make it ALL THE WAY THROUGH my power song on the elliptical at tempo without a break, which I couldn't even imagine on day 1. I did lose pounds pretty much right away (easier when you have a LONG way to go) so those were added motivation. 121 days in, 34 lbs down and today I'll finally measure myself for the first time (wish I'd do so MUCH sooner) but I can't wear my formerly-too-tight shorts/capris now without a belt (oops!!!)

[X] 3 months/10% body weight: New workout clothes (still haven't bought these yet!)

I would have to say the loose fitting clothes. My weight (according to the scale) fluctuated 3 pounds from one day to the next, even though I stayed right on track. The only thing that mattered to me was that things fit me much better than they ever have.

Healthy food choices at the big food store. Not even wanting to go the sugary isles and saying no to the processed food choices. Clothes are fitting so much better -- I've managed to move the "target" dress and pants closer to the front section of the closet!

I brought the boys to football camp and DH met me there. I took off home to take care of laundry and enjoy some quiet time....I said to myself, "I'm going to exercise" and I DID!!! That is most definitely a sign of success for me.

maybe you are gaining muscle and losing fat which will help you in the long run. I too just realized that I gained a lb but my body fat went down. And im guessing its muscle because I have been working really hard.

I'm just starting up again too. I have not lost any weight, YET, but I feel more energized, look forward to exercise and I am enjoying the challenges of it getting easier.

Feeling in control when I have shopped for the foods I like and being prepared for occasions out of the ordinary- for me that means buying measuring cups and spoons, tracking my food intake on good and not so good days, getting over a bad day and getting on with things, and while I haven't lost any weight, I am not as bloated, so pants that were tight last spring are now comfortable to wear all day.

The clothes fitting better was the biggest thing for me! I also loved it when I started getting compliments, but that didn't happen as much until I was closer to my goal.

I recommitted to SP because I was waking up every day feeling like crap. Now I'm on week 3 of a C25k training, I'm wearing my fitbit, I'm logging all my food, and I'm feeling great! (still no weight loss yet, but I'm trying not to lose faith) Overall, just feeling better and living an active life is a win. The weight will come off in time.. I HOPE!

When my 13 yr. old granddaughter who is in residential care for the last 41/2 mos.(bipolar with serious anger management needed),was out on pass over last weekend said "Grandma you have lost a lot of weight",I was really surprised.Everyone else see's me almost daily and doesn't seem to notice much!!!
Also getting into to cloths I haven't worn in 6 yrs. recently!!!!!!!!!!!

My first sign of success was when I got on the scale today and I weighed 2lbs. lighter!!!! I have completed my first week of healthy choices!! I am excited and I feel like I have been successful for my first week!!

Yes, I can say there are signs of success. I'm not hungry for sweets.... I don't eat after 5pm and feel not this insatiable hunger like it used to be.. I think it is the regular exercise which is balancing my metabolism and organ functions, perhaps more blood is flowing through the veins and more nutrition and oxygen, everything is working better. I also sleep better and seem to need less sleep.. I am rested when I awake. I feel energized and do work which I postponed for months. At the gym I force myself to do more when I feel tired and can't anymore - I would then say, last 2 minutes.. It is like overcoming myself and then it feels good. I think also mentally one only can make profit from consequent exercise, the less eating comes hand in hand, soon or later. I think, I am not angry at myself, when I I have a day eating more, for I know I will burn it the next day. I only hope this feeling won't disappear.. and that I won't hurt myself while exercising or won't get some other illness (used to get inflammation visible in the blood work). It is a good feeling to stick with the program. Now I need to do equally enough strength training and perhaps less cardio, to keep the skin smooth, the tummy-skin is a bit hanging. I hope it goes away with belly exercise..

For me, sticking with the program is my first success. After three months, I am healthier than I was. Even on the days that I make poor choices, I am still better off than I was before.

My blood pressure has decreased.
My blood glucose is lower.
My pants are looser.
I have more energy.

My very first NSV was just sticking with SP for more than a week! emoticon
But, seriously, it was staying within my calorie range AND doing my exercise on Thanksgiving day, which was just 2 weeks after I joined SP in 2012.

I noticed I cut 7 minutes off my 2 mile walk time without deliberately trying. Stronger=Faster.
