I take my B-complex with food just to prevent the after taste. I find it helps hair, nails and my skin. I exercise for energy...and as a antidepressant!

I remember that awful taste of the B complex pills, yucky. Have you ever gone off of them for a month, to see if it's all in your head about the so called "energy" rush they might give you? Worth a try, when was the last time you had your B testing by the doctor? Better to look for foods to help you have more energy than the pill. How are your Iron levels? Maybe you need iron and not just B vitamins. Lots of questions to ask a doctor, and not a person who sells the pills. Dietition might help with better food choices. But you are right, the pills do have a nasty aftertaste. Try foods.

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

I took it for a while because I was semi-vegetarian and I got some high-quality B-complex capsules and B-12 chewables for free. As far as I could tell, it made no difference at all-- but then, I'm not anemic and I eat a lot of dairy and eggs, so I probably didn't need it.

Just look up the symptoms of B-vitamin toxicity so you'll be aware quickly if you're overdoing it (which isn't likely.) Then if you feel better, keep taking it, and if you don't notice a difference, save your money once this bottle is gone. Also talk to your doctors about whether you could take a lower-dose multi instead of B-complex. Some of the Bs are more likely to cause side effects than others, so you might want to make sure you're not taking those if you don't need them.

B-complex gummy daily. Energy-level is good, but it could be from exercise also?

I take a half serving of b12 gummy vitamin. 2 are a serving and this stretches them out. I don't know if they really give energy.

I want to start taking vitamin supplements, but will check with my doctor first to make sure they will not interact wrong with my prescriptions.

That's good. Make sure you have it tested at least twice a year with your doctor.

I use a B12 sublingual tablet from Trader Joe's. My levels were low and this one works well, no after taste!

Does anyone use a vitamin B complex to help with their energy levels? It's something that I've used in the past to help boost my energy, and my doctors are okay with it since my levels seem to naturally run a little low. I can't have caffeine or most other stimulants, but for some reason the B complex pills, which leave a TERRIBLE aftertaste, seem to work with fewer side effects.
