Just say point blank: "Stop trying to sell me things". If he/she doesn't take the hint, just walk away.
I had a friend (now ex friend) who used to always try to work her Multi-level marketing BS into any given conversation. After telling her in every way possible that I wasn't interested and would never be interested, I finally had to just cut her off completely.

I would tell them "No Thanks - I am in this for enjoyment, and I don't subscribe to supplements!" .... and leave it at that. If they try to continue, just tell them "I'm not interested and please leave me alone!"
I completely agree with the suggestions made by the others. I was so surprised to hear that people are doing that. Maybe if they hear "No thank you, not interested" while having to keep up they will get the message!

I walk a bike/walking trail everyday, as with many people wanting either to lose weight. keep in shape, enjoy the nice weather or no matter their reason to walk/bike. Recently though, a handful of work from home distributers for weight loss products try to "catch up" with some of us and try to peddle their weight loss product, give handouts or samples. I find this rude. I prefer Not to take supplements, pill, shakes no matter the brand. Of course a diet plan and exercise is always included with these supplements . I don't mind chatting with someone while walking , I met many new friends and walking companions! But what do I tell a diet supplement pusher thats only purpose on the trail is to sell their product?
No such thing as "bad foods"- just bad choices. Bye-bye Highest weight of 295 lbs. Never Going Back! The Journey Continues!
