I played racquet ball years ago. It was a lot of fun and a terrific workout.
Exercise isn't just about burning X calories in Y time. The health benefits of exercise go far beyond how many calories we burn. Regular exercise can reduce our risk for heart disease, osteoporosis and can even help with depression.
Exercise should be fun because when we enjoy doing something, we look forward to doing that something each and every day. So, if you enjoy playing racquet ball and you'll keep playing, that's what counts.

it's great exercise - really gets your heart rate up and there is so much squatting, lunging, jumping, etc.
I don't know anything about how to actually play racquetball, but when the stress got really bad at my old job I would go to the racquetball court after work and smack the heck out of that ball. Because the court is small and fully enclosed, I could keep busy hitting the ball for an hour with very little down time.
