I had forgotten about that show and where they put everything on the table from the week! It was horrifying. I remember one time where everything was the same color: like the color of tortillas. Not a vegetable in site, and most everything had been fried.

Yes, I do track my meals here. But when I'm out to eat, I can't access SP. That's why i take the pics. emoticon

If just watching what I eat ain't enough, I'm not going to obsess further with photo taking. Carry a little note book with you to jot it down. Think "LIFETIME:" and will you be willing to do that for the rest of your lifetime, whatever you do to watch your portions.

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

I think that sounds like an excellent idea. It reminds me of a weight loss TV show in the UK where they lay out on a table everything the person has eaten for a week (while they were tracking them), and it always seems to drive the point home to actually look at it all.

Do you track your food here? I just ask because it's a great way to see exactly how much you ate per day; how many calories, carbs, fat, protein, sodium, etc. you ate per day/per week.

I've heard of programs where clients send in the picture and the registered dietitian reviews it and provides feedback.

I've started taking pictures of the food when I eat out. It helps me recall EXACTLY what I ate and the portions I chose. emoticon
