I still have a hard time feeling comfortable in clothes that are fit tight. I am and probably always will be partial to looser fitting clothes that do not look like they are falling off of me.

In short .... YES - but only because prior to my weight-loss I couldn't find any nice clothes which were complimentary in my size - most were frumpy or designed for skinny people without taking into account the different body shapes - i.e. skinny person with no butt or tummy .... BIGGER person with butt AND definitely a tum :-(

A little bit sexier. I never was a sexy kind of person and at 75 even if I tried to look sexy who would notice.

I enjoy the way I look in my clothes and love the sexy tops as I'm pretty top heavy! I don't like bulges (rolls of fat) to show through my clothes so, emoticon , I feel sexier no matter what I wear!

The closer I am to goal, the more likely I am to wear sleeveless items.

I'm pretty conservative in the way I dress, no matter what I weigh, but I am much more likely to wear items that show my waist when I'm at or near my goal.

Maybe not sexier, but more body hugging than baggy.

Killer Joe, there is a store on amazon called Patti Boutik. And they sell the types of blouses you like your fiance to wear. They ship from China. So the order takes about two months to arrive.

Bunnykicks, I also decided to start dressing nicely. Even though I was still over weight.

For me a man or woman in a well tailored suit is very sessie. (My tablet won't spell out sex y, LOL)

It is more about confidence than skin.

For me sexy is whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. I feel the most confident in jeans that fit well, a bright top and my pair of black ankle boots or a cute sundress that reaches my knees. Low cut tops that reveal a lot of cleavage makes me feel uncomfortable so I wouldn’t feel sexier in it, just exposed, but some other people would feel sexier wearing them.

Call me Sandy. My goals are reaching and maintaining 120 pounds, running a 5K race and performing 48 push-ups in a minute.

Hmmm I never really think about it as dressing "sexier" - I just dress *better.*

But, I started doing that BEFORE I lost any of the weight. I had decided to stop being a frump hiding in stretchy-pants and baggy sweaters, and invested some time (not to mention $) improving my wardrobe - I added skirts even in flashy magenta-pink or fire-engine-red colours, stuff like that. I had decided i was going to rock the big-girl look. However, my body has a very unflattering way of carrying extra weight so even though I was dressing in what could have been considered sexier clothing, I don't suppose I was pulling off a particularly sexy look. Well dressed, yes. Sexy? Oh, doubtful. Now that I've dropped the weight, I have replaced the larger clothes with smaller versions of the same sortsof items... sexy? Idk. I like to look "nice" and "classy" and "well dressed" which might overlap with "sexy" sometimes, but "sexy" isn't actually my typical aim.

Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

Nope, not dressing sexy. couldn't care less. but I am buying better quality tailored suits. When getting dressed up, I'd rather look well tailored and put together than sexy.

yes I dress differently when I lose weight, which I have lately. But sexier I don't think so. I'm a Grandma now, although a rather hip one, I have toned down the sexy look.

I don't. I actually only have bought new clothes since I lost the weight because I switched jobs and needed a more professional wardrobe. Honestly, some of the "new attention" I get sometimes makes me really uncomfortable.

KJ, you and my BF think a lot a like because he *totally* would want me in one of those shirts. *I* just wouldn't be comfortable wearing them anywhere except for an evening out, which is pretty uncommon at the moment. :P

Heck ya I am......I wear more things with lace..pink things...things that show off my shape. I want to show off that I am a girl......one with muscles coming along. I am also one to be careful too.........don't want to show it all and I don't. Just enough to get the point across that I am a girl...........Just a hint.......

I've experienced a drop in weight over the past year and mostly I just feel more comfortable in the clothes I was already wearing. I'm not going for any kind of look in particular.

I'm tending towards clothes that are more fitted at well. I have to keep the necklines fairly conservative because of work but I'm definitely going for a more tailored look.

I think confidence is sexy.

So even though my friend that wears spandex club dresses. May think my clothes are ultra conservative. I think I dress more confident and sessie.

okay, so let's get the terminology out of the way; what is "dressing sexier"? It's different for all of us, I may think a black tight horizontal key-holed tank top is sexy but someone else thinks that's a bit old-fashioned and think that latex wear is more sexier.......you get the point, lol!

I certainly have a tendency to dress, what I think is, sexier. I am currently experiencing a drop in weight (10 lbs loss since the day after Christmas) and for work I am back to wearing my fitted button down shirts with ties whereas this past year when I was trying to gain weight and muscle mass I only wore un-tucked polo shirts.

Most of my female colleagues have been complimenting me more lately mostly because of what I'm wearing which just so happens to better on me when I'm thinner....soooooo, I'll be wearing my fitted shirts more often now that I know I look better in them than my polo shirts. My fiancé also likes me in fitted shirts and ties for work, too.

What say, you? Do you dress differently when you're thinner?
