I eat something before EVERY workout. If I feel hungry I don't feel well and won't work out at the intensity I need to. I also won't work out as hard as I might want to because my body is focused on HUNGER!!! and not my workout. Some people do ok, though, without eating, and I think you just have to experiment and see what works for you.
IT depends on the workout. If I'm hitting some weights for 30 mins, or the treadmill, nah, I don't need it. I DO have to eat afterwards.
However, if I'm doing intense cardio, such as circuit training, boot camp, etc, I DO need something. The problem is, I don't like to eat before I work out. Those days, a quick protein shake is perfect, and I usually also eat solid something afterwards. Bananas are also perfect pre-and-post workout food.

Ideally it's good to eat something small before you workout, since it's been so long since your last meal the night before. But some people feel sick if the don't eat, or have no problem exercising on an empty stomach. If that's the case for you, then it's fine not to eat and wait until you're finished.

I rarely workout in the morning, but when I do, I'll do something light like Greek yogurt or fruit. Something light and soothing. I also drink a ton of water (as early as possible, so that it will settle) as I tend to have the most workout issues from dehydration more than anything. Then I have my normal light breakfast afterward.

I don't typically eat before a workout, simply because we get up and go to the gym within about 15 minutes. I do, however, eat or drink a little something that is high in protein afterwards, within about 30 minutes. The only thing I have on my stomach before a workout is about a half of a cup of coffee, just to get me going.
I have heard different opinions about this topic. Is it best to eat before a workout. I have been working out in the morning and wondering if it is negatively effecting my body if I don't eat something before hand. I am not doing extreme workouts, just the 10 minute spark videos. Would love to get others advice and also see what other sparkers are doing before and after workouts. Thank you!
