I hope to see this movie. my take on it is this.......If it brings people to Jesus it is all good. So it's bits and pieces.....the bible is too bits and pieces of Jesus's life. Did you see the Passion Of The Christ.........? It was the same way..........
God looks at the heart. I watched interviews with Roma and her heart's desire was to lift up Jesus and for people to see Him. So much so when the focus went to who played satan, they ended up cutting that part out.
Why not choose to focus on the good and the positive?
I saw it and liked it. PRAISE JESUS!

"I am not seeing this I don't like playing with religeon for money You are not allowed to present our religeon by yourself as producer . Nobody gave you the permission to do that"
No one should have to. Whether or not I agree with something, that doesn't give me the right to tell others they can't do it. We thankfully live in a place filled with religious freedom. We don't know why the producers of this chose to make it. Maybe they want to reach people with a good message. Maybe not.
You don't need permission to make a movie out of a thousands-of-years-old text.

It is an awesome movie, a bit different from The Bible miniseries; has some of the same actors as in The Bible. It does not say or show WHY Jesus died (not specifically evangelical). Hopefully, it plants seeds for those who go to see it and do not know Christ. And it is your choice whether you want to see it or not; just like any other movie.

Can not wait to see it. If you object to the content, you have the right to NOT see it. If it is what you want, go see it. Simple!! There are other movies I would not care to see because it conflicts with my beliefs or character. Luckily we do have a choice.
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen. You will seek me and fi
I don't know if I will go see it..not that the content isn't inspiring..its just that I don't like paying the prices that movies cost..! On the other hand..I am encouraged to see people desiring to watch it. I hope it will touch peoples lives to want to become better and more loving..Christlike' if you will. We need more positive media !! We NEED Christ in our lives !!

I don't see any problem with them doing it - I mean, no-one's forced to go and watch it and it will be pretty obvious what it's about, so I don't really get WalidGazala's argument. Let's see if it takes off. It may not even make it to UK, though we had the miniseries on TV just before Christmas.
Okay I'm confused why is this going to be in major movie theaters when this is bits and pieces from the mini series The Bible? Where you could see the entire series now they are cutting bits and pieces to make a movie. This was seen by over 100 million people, a great success.... so why are they going to clip it and make a movie? Is it because they missed out on a fortune it being on TV? Don't get me wrong I loved the mini series, I just don't see why now it's going to be a major motion picture and you'll be missing hours of footage.....
Starting to like the new me! Waiting for my garden to come to life!
