Yes, definitely. Half a size smaller, and also narrower. I suppose it makes sense if you think about it -- my feet aren't carrying around an extra 100+ pounds all day any more!

Starting Weight: 260 lbs. (November 2010)
Quasi-Maintenance: 165 lbs. (June 2011)
Goal Weight: 150 lbs. (reached December 8, 2011)

Size 22W to Size 4

Currently maintaining within 5 lbs. (+ or -) of goal. I weigh daily, but also use a tape measure and the fit of my clothes to guage how well I'm doing.

Hi!

No and yes. Like you, my feet definitely became thinner! I do have one pair of walking shoes that fits me now that didn't before.

Mostly the size is the same I think. Hard to say only because I learned that I was wearing shoes that were really too small for walking before.

Yes, strangely. I have been a size 10 since I was a teenager, when I weighed much less than I do now. These days I am wearing a 9.5 or 9 shoe.

My body is cannibalizing all of the fat that I have OTHER than the belly fat due to metabolic disease. I have also lost several ring sizes--a ring that was custom made for me when I was 18 is now so large that I had to get a ring guard in order to be able to wear it.

Dances: salsa (standard/LA), casino, rueda de casino, cumbia Colombiana, bachata, mambo, cha-cha-chá, merengue, reggaetón.

My shoe size has not really changed since I was in high school even though I weigh much more. I had very narrow feet though so normal width shoes probably just fit better.

It changed when I had my son when I was 38. I put on 50 or so pounds and 1/2 a shoe size....yet when the weight was lost, my foot stayed the same.

Yes, each time I lost more than 50 or 60 times, the shoe size went down, so, keep your shoes for each time they fit you...................;)

Plan for tomorrow, but enjoy the heck out of today.

Yes, it has. I used to wear a 10W now I wear a standard 9. The excess weight causes our feet to spread in all directions so losing 100#s means not so much spread.

Has Your Shoe Size Changed With Your Weight ?

My width has changed....and my friend told me her size changed.
Have you noticed any changes as you lose.....
or have you lost a lot of weight but remained the same shoe size?
