Peanut butter.

But I probably would not be able to decide if faced with a choice and then, depending on how I felt that day, it would be both or neither! A devilishly difficult decision.

I like coconut but most coconut desserts are loaded with sugar. As a kid, my family used to make Tembleque - Coconut Pudding. Peanut butter has great nutritional value and doesn't need as much sugar.

It depends on the dessert and what the peanut butter or coconut is being combined with.
I like coconut in some things and I like peanut butter in some things. I do not like either flavor in every type of dessert combination.

What are you making ? Because that will determine whether you use peanut butter or coconut. I feel that some desserts work well with coconut and others work well with peanut butter.

Is the peanut butter or coconut an ingredient of the dessert or a just topping ? Peanut butter cookies and peanut butter brownies ? or Coconut topped cake or cupcakes ? I love peanut butter cookies. however, peanut butter filled or topped cupcakes are a bit much for me. But coconut topped cupcakes are yummy.

I enjoy both flavors.

GEVANS7 hit it. I really like either with chocolate. However, alone, I would go with the coconut.

I am really amazed at how many people just hate coconut.

Choosing between only the two mentioned, I would have to say that it depends completely on my mood. There are says when I crave one and the other sounds disgusting, but the next day it might be reversed.

Interesting question - I have to go with coconut, especially if it is surrounded in chocolate.

Peanut Butter. I can't stand coconut :(

Are these the two choices? PB or coconut?

Which flavor do you generally prefer for your dessert? (pie, cookie, candy, etc. just in general) Taste is the only factor I'm looking at; assume equal health attributes.
