Bluenose, THANK YOU! I order all kinds of stuff from ebay, mostly hard to find Lego sets, Sesame Street stuff, or books/movies type things. I never even thought of it for this, but I found exactly what I was looking for at a terrific price. I've ordered them and will be happily awaiting their arrival.

I've included the link to what I found for Maryela. I did find a larger and better selection on ebay than in a general web search or on amazon, so I guess ebay was the way to go for this.

I just picked one up for DH at Walmart a week or two ago. They had a few different ones to choose from. He liked the one I got him and it was under $5. Good luck finding something that works for you.

I use this one; http://www.walmart.com/ip/Adjustable-Ankle-Stabilizer/10533462

It is not a pull over and it works better for me than the ace pull over. It is also inexpensive.

Thanks Carpetcrawler, I checked out Futuro stuff on Amazon. The only thing I could find still pulls on over the foot, even though there is a part that wraps. I need it to completely wrap because almost all that pull on have neoprene in them which I'm allergic to.
Gevans....I can't use an actual Ace bandage as they're too bulky and have no give in them which means that if my ankle swells, the tight Ace bandage just causes a loss of sensation in my foot. Because I have nerve damage in my legs from a back injury, I can't risk any more nerve damage in my feet.
I've tried Salon Pas and have had no relief from it. It basically just made me smell funny. I've had prescription patches that work great, but I don't get them too often because I'm trying to learn more natural ways to manage pain. I can sometimes use other topical agents that do help sometimes, but mostly they don't.

I agree that you cold do that with a long ace bandage, TIGHT, and secure with the metal pins.
Sorry if this is not the help you are looking for, but I have had similar joint problems and the ace bandage wraps help. I also use a product called "Salon Pas" -sold in sheets and I will cut strips to lay under the wrap. It has aspirin that will absorb into the skin.

I have an ankle wrap from Futuro Sport that works pretty well. It wraps like an Ace bandage. It's sold on Amazon.

This might be the wrong place for this topic, if so please let me know, but I'm looking for a specific type of ankle wrap. I'll post a link with what I'm looking for. The distributor is saying it has been discontinued, and I'm looking for something basically the same. It does NOT slip over the foot, rather it is completely wrapped like an Ace bandage around the foot and ankle.

I've been scouring the internet looking for something similar, and the distributor keeps sending me the same link to a different wrap with absolutely zero information about it. My ankles dislocate fairly frequently and I use these wraps after a dislocation to help relieve pain. If you've seen something like this, please let me know.
Thanks!
