I had one done a couple three years ago. If I recall correctly, it took a couple weeks to heal up but there were instructions about keeping it covered, what to put on it, etc. At any rate, the absolute best thing to do is go back to the dermatologist & have them look at it. *Sometimes* with doctor offices, they do call-backs right before/ after lunch or whatever, if it isn't an emergency. Still, you could call them back and express how concerned you are or ask if it's okay for you to come in at such-and-such a time, could they just look at it.
