I am glad that you have come to this realization - you can now set about remedying it. I think that you could well do with some help to overcome it properly. I also think that you are best to talk with your Dr and ask for a referral to a Therapist who specializes in Eating/Exercise issues.
Good job on doing some planning to reign in that overtraining/overeating cycle. It can be exhausting.
I am an amateur artist and love to relax by painting in the evening, then I always read a novel. I do neither of these hobbies for long periods of time but make it a habit to at least spend a little time that way.
I sometimes do social media or (gasp) work in the evening but neither of those two things are very relaxing.

Good for you for figuring out that what you are doing isn't good for you. Yes, we need to exercise but we have to be reasonable about it. I caught myself doing the same thing, exercising 7 days a week, an hour a day minimum. Didn't matter how sore or tired I was... It's like I replaced overeating with obsessing over workouts. And I hate working out ....go figure.
I don't think you will be happy with a passive substitute, you are very tuned into being active. I couldn't sit and meditate for 10 minutes let alone sit quietly for 10 minutes in a tub! No matter how wonderful it sounds!
I would look for something that engages both your mind and your hands. A computer game, knitting, scrapbooking, sewing, organizing that stack of recipes, anything that you find interesting. You could take your favorite recipes and run them through the calculator and figure out how to make them lighter, healthier versions.
Good luck, this is a hard habit to break.

Maybe a relaxing bath, reading, hobby. Obsessing is easy to do. I'm glad you are recognizing that this is not healthy. Find something that you liked (besides eating) that you stopped doing once the exercise took over. Have you stopped seeing friends and family? If so re-connect.

I've been a SP Member for a year and a half and have been maintaining a healthy weight for just shy of a year. Lately, I feel like I've been abusing myself with food and exercise. I'm a bit obsessive. I burn a lot of calories in a day. I work an active job, I'm a mother and lately have been over exercising. I've been running 60-90 mins a day and strength training on top. I've been burning around 2500+ cals a day which is a lot for someone my size. I eat a decent amount during the day... around 2200 cals but lately in the evenings I've been having massive binges. I have little doubt that it's related to overtraining and my active lifestyle. It's as though I run around like a madwoman all day and then when I finally sit down in the evening, I'm antsy and bored and I eat. I don't have many interests anymore outside of food (eating, cooking/baking) and exercise.
Last night I made myself sick of feeling obsessed over food and exercise. I exercise and obsess over my calories burned so I can eat more. I eat more because I'm burning so many calories. Vicious cycle. I'm certain that the winter blues isn't helping and I'm suffering from seasonal depression which is amplifying my obsessions. Today I'm breaking that cycle and setting up some new goals for myself and regaining my focus. Some of which include only doing cardio for 30-45 mins a day and finding non-exercise and food related interests and rewards.
That's where I need my Spark family's help. Can you help me brain storm some things to do in the evening with myself? I need ideas on how to relax and calm myself in the evening, healthy ways to reward myself at the end of the day.
"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.
