Please don't listen to any advice offered suggesting the HGC "diet." - it is DANGEROUS.
I think the notion of "shocking your body" into dropping weight arises out of the observation that sometimes, we eat "healthy" for days and the scale doesn't change, and then we have a day or two of "poor/over-eating" and yet, the scale drops.... and we humans like to see "cause and effect" so we assume.............
when in actual fact, it's mostly likely just coincidence, and merely further proof that bodies and scales are unpredictable things....
Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)
