Have you recently increased the amount of exercise you do ? If you recently increased the amount of activity you engage in, that would explain your body's cravings for food.
food = energy and no food = no energy to exercise or perform daily activities.
Now, if you haven't changed your exercise or eating habits, your recent hunger could be a result of the Polar vortex. When it's bitter cold outside, our bodies require more energy (calories) to stay warm. So, if you've been feeling a chill, your body may be responding by asking for more calories to keep you warm.
I would suggest having a BIG cup of tea. If you find the tea doesn't help, then try eating a bit more to sate your hunger. Have a piece of fruit, nuts, granola bar, etc... Have two servings of oatmeal instead of one. 200+ extra calories will not make or break your healthy lifestyle and it may just be what you need to get you to stop feeling so hungry.
You need to add some protein to that oatmeal along with some good fat - try mixing in raw walnuts which will give you both protein and fat and will keep you full longer. You should always eat some protein whenever you eat carbs.

I am noticing that I am getting hungrier the last two days. I have not changed my eating pattern so I don't understand. Usually oatmeal fills me up for hours. Today 2 hours and I am hungry. I have been on the treadmill three days in a row. Would that make a difference. Any advice would be great. This is my weak point. Ugh.
