Next Sunday is the Super Bowl and I'm looking for ideas on something different to serve. It seems like we always have the same foods.
We usually have:
garlic stuffed meatballs with Provolone on potato rolls
Velveeta cheese dip with beans, salsa and hamburger with tortilla chips
Various chips and dips
Carrots, celery and other raw veggies
Barbequed Tri Tip
Twice Baked potatoes
You all get the idea.
This year I would like to make some healthier dishes and just something different
Hubby wants the meatballs so we will still make those.
I found a recipe for a lower calorie spinach artichoke dip that I will serve with celery.
I was also thinking bacon wrapped water chestnuts.
I was thinking maybe chicken skewers? Or Shrimp something?
Trying to keep to finger foods, snacky things.
All ideas greatly appreciated!
