plants do well in fluorescent lighting. Many greenhouses and nurseries use them. It could be the change in air moisture and the change in how often you are watering them. Some plants are more fussy...ferns....and don't take well to changes.

How near to the purifier are they? I used to have one in my bedroom as I thought it might help my asthma. But the wall behind the ioniser got filthy. It seemed that the ioniser extracted the impurities out of the air and glued them to my bedroom wall. I had to get rid of the ioniser in the end because of the difficulties of keeping the wall clean. I'm just wondering if all the gunk from the air is being deposited on your poor plants making them very sad indeed?

They lived here for 5 years & did ok. I took them to another job for 8 months & they thrived there. I thought it was maybe the mass amount of fluorescent light. I brought them back here 3 months ago & they are so sad. But in the last 3 days since we turned off the Ionic Pro they are doing better.

it's not the purifier....plants take a few days to adjust to the changes in light and temp....especially if they were transported any distance in a temperature they aren't used to. Just go back to caring for them. DYKT lots of plants purify the air of toxins (like formaldehyde) that are in the air because most furniture and upholstery have it

I just brought my plants back to an old job and they are not doing good. While I was gone my office co-worker bought an Ionic purifier. We turned it off a few days ago & the plants are looking better. Does anybody have any thoughts or comments on this?
