I didn't think to make a resolution this year but I did make a conscious decision to start living a healthy lifestyle. I've been doing well with it and can't believe I lived so unhealthily before.

I'm having great days where I'm really focused and doing what I wanted to do and then I have my days where everything falls apart but...... on my bad days it doesn't take long for me to get back on track so that's good.

Thanks for asking! It's a good thing I did not resolve to do this perfectly :-) but I am going strong with consistent exercise and my diet is world's better than it was. I expect February to go wonderfully! If anything, I'm more determined now that I was a month ago.

Hope you are making great progress, too.

My financial goals have been hold for a bit while I iron out some hiccups but my social ones are going okay and fitness okay too. Just got to my monthly goals. Shaking it up with a few monthly goals - including a month of no weighing since I've been obessessing

I made 12 points or resolutions and so far, am keeping up (though it's been challenging!) I tried to make three points for things to interact with such as family, community/church, and fitness/healthy lifestyle.

Going great so far. Ask me again in July...:)

MONYEE -- wow!! Amazing progress on your health outcomes!!

I didn't set out to make resolutions for 2014, and yet, several things in my life have changed for the better. I started using daily to do lists and getting a ton of things done. I started exercising consistently, logged over 1k fitness minutes for January and worked out 28 out of 31 days! I started lifting weights last week. I started doing daily crunches. And I lost 8 pounds! Things are looking up up UP!!!

I don't do resolutions, I do Shape Shifting, and that's working really well. I'm losing weight and plowing through my goals. My Bucket List, on the other hand, is something I'm struggling with. I'm stuck at trying to figure out how to pay for it.

Bucket list this year filled with home renovations and personal financial goals.... so far on Saturday the home renovations will get a check mark for getting some things done.
Resolutions is sticking to eating right and working out and losing 30lbs by April 15th! Not going to weigh myself again until Feb 15 so keep you posted!

My bucket list has renewed energy. My breast cancer surgery is over. I have radiation treatments. I plan to love more deeply, live more fully and keep on laughing. Life can still be good. Priorities are now in my life. More golf, different exercise (yoga and Tai Chi), and healthy living top my bucket list.

I am on my way to better health!

I resolved to do three days a week of weights, and so far I am averaging two days a week. Not bad, but it's still more than I did in 2013 :D.
Also, I am making an effort to do more things in my town. It seems since I moved here, I'm always somewhere else, so I am wanting to learn more about where I live. I have tried three restaurants so far this year, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I also took part in a community volunteer event.
I would like to save more money in 2014 as well, but so far, that hasn't happened, haha. I think I will do better than last year, though, as I'm scaling back on some traveling this year.

It is still January, so I am a work in progress. I have not had a computer working for three weeks. Now I know how important it is to track everything. I did two 5Is, Now I have started to injury from not walking. Today is the day I get busy.

I have managed to get to bed by 9:45 on "school nights" so far this year, and I can get up more easily in the a.m., which means I'm getting to work a few minutes earlier, yay. I also started the year wishy washy on trying to lose more weight or stay where I am, and I booked a flight to San Diego for my birthday, so I've set the goal to be 135 by then, totally doable. I'm going to spend my birthday at Disneyland, feeling great in whatever clothes I choose to wear and eating whatever I choose to eat without feeling deprived or guilty! Last year I had a birthday party to celebrate 65 lbs lost, and I'm hoping this year, we will celebrate 80 lost! Go, sparkers!!

I was 219 in August 2011. I am now 140-135 lbs and seeing if I can go any farther without feeling deprived. As of March, I went from 37% to 19% body fat, dropped from a size 18/20 to a 6/8, lost 38.25 inches all over, and love getting fired up for exercise goals!


Just keep swimming...

So far so good... January even with the COLD I've done my steps - 25 for 25 emoticon

But have to admit the last few days have NOT been easy, and now the 25th of Jan I'm beginning to feel the downgrade of motivation beginning to set in - OH NO!!! Think I'm going to need to change things up a bit in February. Maybe I will set new "mini" monthly goals instead of trying to conquer a whole YEAR at a time.

This "smaller bites" idea has worked in the activity area, what started out as 10 minute SPARKS has gotten me to 10,000 steps a day for 25 days emoticon but as I said...the motivation, or thrill of it is waning fast so need to reeve up another action plan here...maybe switch from steps to minutes and from cardio to strength & flexibility - Ya that sounds good for my February plan / resolution...or rather my 2014 REVOLUTION emoticon

I was doing great until this weather kicked it up a notch, but I am doing great on eating more fruits and veggies.

Work on streak till I get o goal weight! At 162.5 and want to see 142.5 this year! Joined lose twenty by Christmas challenge!
Eat proper nutrition and no excuses or passes until it comes off! Drink at least 8 glasses of water and get knee in shape by Pt and walking and biking! Log onto Spark 5x a week and ck teams! Making it happen!

I started getting back to fitness in December, and since then have upped the rigor of my workouts. I've been working on eating well, and the more I put in to that, the better I get. (Go figure emoticon ) Maybe I'm ready to make some formal resolutions now!

Doing absolutely FANTASTIC! My resolutions this year were specific (as per SP recommendations)

Go Meatless Mondays: Don't even miss the meat and have found a couple of recipes that the family really enjoys!

Eat fish twice a week: So far, so good!

Limit red meat to no more than once a week: Done.

Exercise 5-6 times a week: Getting better and it's becoming less a chore and more something I want to do.

My cholesterol is down to 167 from over 200 and my blood pressure this morning was 99/61 which is the best it's been in a DECADE. Why the heck would I want to stop what I'm doing?!?! Woot woot!

Just trying to get a new perspective this year. Haven't weighed , but I am following the program. I am taking 1 day at a time and not trying to beat myself up. Establishing healthy routines to last a lifetime. I feel it is going well. Feeling better and more toned. The hunger animal is loose though, and being tamed !!
