In my opinion, it's not the shape or the type of bread, but what's in it.

We use the sandwich thins. I also like good artisan style while wheat bread.

We have a bread machine & like to try out different recipes. So far every one that we've made has been very tasty.

Pita bread is one of the most healthy breads you can eat.

I have lost 6 pounds. Though I am not trying as hard as I feel I should I am very happy about the weight loss. Good luck to all of you.

I love sandwich thins too! 100 calories per serving that also has 5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein...love it! I get mine at the local bakery thrift store....sometimes I am lucky and can catch them there for 50 cents a pack and they last longer than regular bread. Oh and they are awesome to use to make homemade breakfast sandwiches in the morning!

Freezing bread is a great idea--you can just pull out one slice at a time. A loaf of bread lasts me about 6 months.

Dances: salsa (standard/LA), casino, rueda de casino, cumbia Colombiana, bachata, mambo, cha-cha-chá, merengue, reggaetón.

Currently learning: Mexican cumbia, danzón, Cuban rumba

Dances to Learn in the future: flamenco, tango Argentino, samba, belly dancing, bhangra, ballroom rumba

I'm lucky enough to have a great bakery that makes a wonderful multi-grain bread. My husband swears it's made out of leaves, sticks and twigs! I really like it as I can see the seeds LOL. It's very dense and chewy and high in fiber.

I buy a loaf and freeze it, one loaf lasts me about 3 weeks.

Hopefully you have some place in your town where you can find something like it.

I don't do bread anymore as I use sandwich thins. I like them and they make a good sandwich with out all that bread. Orawheat makes some good ones. I have gotten the whole wheat and 8 grain.

With EVERY meal? It sounds like you need to get much more creative about how you eat.

The best kind bread is NO bread. If you must have bread, something like Dave's Killer Bread has some redeeming nutritional value...if you have ONE slice only.

I like whole wheat bread when I eat it, usually on a sandwich. Lately though I have given up bread due to the sugar content. I just eat my lunch meat wrapped around a piece of cheese, I never was one to eat bread with every meal. I know there are low sugar breads available but I haven't gone looking yet and I suspect they will be higher in price. I am happy with my meat wrap for now.

I like grainy breads like 12-grain. One of our favorites is Oroweat with Omega 3. It's a moist bread that retains a chewy texture when toasted. With bread, remember though, one slice is a serving. Also, if you bake, check out making your own breads -- they are cheaper, and you can experiment with all kinds of grains and ingredients -- there are multitudes of recipes on the computer for healthy breads......and the aroma of them baking is wondrous (especially if you live in a cold climate -- it gives you the excuse to warm up your home with the oven)!

Keep a sense of humor. Remember, laughing burns calories too!

Laugh until it hurts! It's one of the few things in life that's still free!!

Any effort is better than no effort!

I hardly ever eat bread anymore because gluten free bread just doesn't taste that good to me.

For me, bread is a trigger food...and I used to only eat 100% Whole Wheat bread.... I'm much better eating brown rice, beans, or having a baked potato (sweet or plain) to satisfy my starch cravings. And I will make extra brown rice and leave it in the fridge for future meals.

What is the best kind of bread to eat, being born in the 1950 bread was my staple diet and I have alwaye eaten it with every meal. I try to cut it out but it is my worsy failing.. help.
