As my sp friends know, I have touted how much I have depised the year 2013, all year long.
from breaking my foot on Jan 8th which sidelined me from walking, to gaining back 16 lbs of the 70 I had lost in 2012. to the loss of a dear friend, to my very best friend being found guilty of second degree manslaugter and sentenced to 10 years in jail, to many other bad issues that have surrounded me, I have to say here, it wasnt all bad, here are a few good points to the year.
My son celebrated 2 years of being clean.
I got to go to Myrtle Beach.
I got a part time job and made a wonderful new friend.
I laughed alot.
I ONLY gained 16 lbs when it could have been much worse, being unable to walk for 6 months.
I got alot of organizing done at my house.
My best friend, while he was found guilty, was granted a re-trial and was released from jail within weeks of his sentencing.
I guess I can say, 2013 wasnt all that awful.
I will always say that I went thru some of the worse emotional pain and hurt in my life during the year, and physical as well.
But inside, I remained a good hearted person, and for the most part lived a fulfilled life,
Stressful at times yes indeed.
But, I am still here. and feeling stronger than ever.
