I don't have kids but I have nieces and nephews. They go skiing, sledding, and skating. Of course, the weather in Minnesota has been rather bitter this winter. It's -10 F right now! They are also involved in sports like basketball and hockey, which keeps them active. Also, they spend tie chasing each other around.

My son does junior triathlon training (so swimming indoors and snowshoeing outdoors) as well as playing in a hockey league. He and his friends get together when ever they aren't playing hockey in a game and play shinny hockey at the outdoor rink at the end of our street.
The three boys that still live at home are very active. My 23 year old gets up every morning and uses the treadmill, free weights and his body weight to exercise. My youngest son plays club volleyball, high school basketball and box lacrosse and has gym this semester. MY 19 year old is a candidate fire fighter so he works out at home on the treadmill and at work. They are a great inspiration!

Summertime is easy but how do you get your kiddos to get healthy amts of exercise in the ice cold winter months? My daughter does karate and used to do dance, she also does gymnastics in our basement and takes wintertime walks w/ us and builds snowmen/snowball fights etc, what do yours like to do?
