Yup! The hiccups went away halfway thru the dialysis treatment but I got low blood pressure towards the end. The nurses didn't know bcoz I had lipstick on and they couldn't see how pale my lips had become but I didn't call them bcoz I was almost thru and I just wanted to treatment to finish properly as I was very heavy. In fact, when I went home, I was owing about 1kg! Sigh! Time for discipline!

I got hiccups too yesterday, for the first time in at least a year. As I have increased my daily water consumption and been more consistent about hydration, my troubles with hiccups have gone away.

Yesterday, though, I ate a few crackers. Haven't had crackers in at least a year--the combination of dry and salty was not a good thing!

Merry Christmas, Eowyn !

Did the hiccups go away ? What works for me is holding my breathe for a moment then taking a drink of water. Some times just inhaling and exhaling slowly for a couple of minutes will get them to stop too.

I'm having hiccups atm. I didn't eat much at the church Christmas lunch but I'm way over the mark in weight! So I decided to go for dialysis today instead of Thursday, despite being Christmas and all!

I wore my new black lace dress to perform worship duty this morning, got a lot of compliments but I wish I had a girdle! I have got to lose a few pounds! No more indiscriminate eating and no more food despite the midnight munchies! I have got to get back on track or my clothes won't fit me anymore! Sigh!
