No, I stop doing that a couple of year ago. I make small goals and challenges during the year.

I make resolutions ....BUT....they have to be fun ones. For example I had always wanted to learn to play the piano so I resolved to take piano lessons. I did and had fun. I don't play well but so what?

I wanted to learn to swing dance, so I took lessons. I'm not that good at it but it's fun.

I've also taken a painting class, a wood carving class and a candy making class.

I think making a resolution to do something fun makes my life more fun. And I never succeeded at the Lose weight, quit smoking type of resolutions.

I don't make New Year's resolutions. I just try and live a good and healthy life all year long.

I am not really one to make New Year's resolutions, but I would like to stay on track w/ my weight loss and health goals and would also like to work to become more financially sound.

I no longer make NY resolutions, I make promises and goals to myself, it seems to work better for me.

My New Years resolution is to make No more Resolutions! A Resolution for 12 entire months! makes me feel sad and guilty if I fail a few or several months into the new year. Several short term plans during the year work better for me.

I don't do new Year's resolutions but I do set goals for the year. The trouble is I tend to review them at the end of January and then not until December 31st. I know I have achieved some of my goals for 2013 though. They can be about all sorts of thing - getting things done in the house, books to read, places to go, weight to lose - all sorts.

I make New Year's resolutions but hardly ever keep them. Right now, I have a lot of stressful things going on in my life, so I'm not going to be too concerned about resolutions this coming year. I will, however, be happy that the high-calorie-food season is over, so I'll use January as a jumping off point to being healthier.

I do make New Year's Resolutions, and I'm pretty good at sticking to them.

I suppose that's why I continue to make them - there's lots of areas for improvement with me.

I don't make resolutions, BUT do work very hard to make sure I'm in a strong exercise routine starting late Oct or early Nov. That makes me more determined to get in my workout when the resolution crowd takes over the gym for a few weeks. I'll find an alternative so I can keep working out.

Lol, although I do realize that it is not yet even Christmas, I have a habit of contemplating and formulating my New Year's Resolution in late December and it's the time again.

I love New Year's Resolution making and often make a whole list but refine it down by the end of the year to one or maybe two or a few items.

I also realize some folks DON'T make resolutions and think that is interesting to hear about, too.

My resolution is a work in progress, still, but was wondering if anyone had anything to share about their resolution making or lack thereof or a fully formed or tentative resolution?

I am thinking along the lines of maintaining weight, being more productive and continuing strides I've made this year in health and various other areas of life ... or something lol.

Moving in new directions.
