Try to get some exercise in, walking or using the gym at the hotel.
Tips on eating out:
Stay away from the Blooming Onion! While delicious unless you share it with a dozen people.... lol
You can eat healthy while dining out. Consider splitting a meal with your daughter and ordering an extra salad.
Practice all of the other things that you have learned:
Avoid fried and breaded foods.
Avoid cream based soups.
Watch the appetizers and the bread baskets.
Order extra vegetables. Replace potatoes, rice etc with vegetables,
Avoid coffee based milkshakes .....ie Frappuccino's.
Eat as healthy of a breakfast as you can. I can split a French Toast with bacon and scrambled eggs breakfast combo with my daughter. She eats the French Toast, I eat the eggs, we split the bacon.
Don't let yourself get overly hungry.
Pay attention to your stress levels, especially if you are an emotional eater. Take time to relax and decompress.

Enjoy yourself, be prepared for tons of compliments and don't worry about it too much. It's only a few meals on the journey of being of healthy.
