the experts recommend an "average" of 1% to 2% weight lose a week. some weeks are going to be more, some are going to be less. but as long as you are being consistent with your healthy living plan, its all good. :)

The only thing that has helped me and it's helped me twice was a change in my medication then the weight slid off. The smaller things that are broken Plateau's have been lessening my intake of sodium but these are much smaller plateaus and my huge plateaus when I was taking medication antidepressants And other drugs can really contribute to weight gain perhaps this is something that could contribute to wait Gain in your case. I don't know just a suggestion you might want to look into. Sorry for bad English I'm dictating into a microphone.

Be thankful for the 4-6 pounds! After a 90-pound weight loss, I have been stuck in the same place for almost a year.

My neuroendocrinologist says that I am in hypothalmic stasis. Basically you reach a set point and your hypothalmus has to readjust before you are capable of losing any more weight.

Could you try increasing your exercise? 130 minutes a week is not very much.

I just don't understand why I'm losing 4-6. It seems unhealthy but I'm doing everything right and I feel great. I started at 398 last January and I'm currently 308 as of today. I go down a pant-size every 2 months.

Yes. I'm a pound or two from my goal weight and from about 20 lbs ago to now, I'll hold steady for several weeks, then drop 1-2 lbs. Rinse, lather, repeat. Adding more ST and HIIT helped, but my pants size went down a lot more than my weight over the last 4-5 months. The pounds are just a lot more stubborn the lower that I get.

Ever since I lost 80 pounds, I noticed that my weight loss has really slowed down! My weight stays steady for about 3 weeks and then I lose 4-6 pounds. I am following my plan, I exercise for 130+ minutes a week and I stay hydrated. I just don't understand why my body does this. I even re-calibrated my scale just to make sure.

Anyone else get this?
