Almonds are better than jerky meaning the proteins are higher.

Will you have a microwave?

I like to take plastic baggies with a serving of oatmeal and a few crasins or raisins. If you have a bowl and access to water, that's breakfast!

Hello lovely Spark People!

I will be staying in a hotel for five days on a business trip. I'd love to save money by not eating out every single meal and I'd also love to stay on track with my calories. What are some foods I should bring with me? My hotel room will not have a mini-fridge.

Here's what I have so far:
apples, oranges, bananas
nuts (though I don't prefer these because they are so high calorie)
turky jerky
baby carrots
meal bars
those pre-packaged canned tuna meals.

Any other suggestions? Unfortunately the fitness center is $20 per visit but I guess I'll bite the bullet and go a couple times.
