Actually, now that I'm getting used to it... i kind of appreciate it. I find that it is a little bit visually unappealing (all those lines! first time i saw it i thought my computer or connection was lagging and not loading up the graphics correctly)... BUT I like the fact that the search word is highlighted-in-bold. It makes scanning a long list for the entry you're looking for, a little easier.
My current nutrition search pet peeve is with mandarin oranges. I bought a box (tis the season), ate one, went to track it. Typed in "mandarin" and "mandarin orange" - got a list of results that began with canned mandarins, moved on to gel cup mandarins, takeout mandarin chicken, mu shu pork with mandarin sauce, mandarin flavoured drink mix... and then wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy down at the bottom, "Fresh Mandarin Orange."
I just hate it when the "real/whole" food turns up at the bottom of the search. It should be the FIRST result returned.
