You mean physical education, not the existence of a gymnasium space, right?
It seems like children here do have PE classes, at least through middle school. In high school, it seems to vary, but most kids go out for at least one competitive sport a year.
Am I the only person here who didn't hate PE in high school? I went to an international school, so we played neat games from around the world and a lot of soccer. I also lifted weights in the morning before school and did sports after school--volleyball, basketball and track...plus when I wasn't at practice I did lap swimming or helped to coach basketball for younger kids.
