Thanks. I was just trying to figure out how to reset without losing my food tracker I worked so hard on. I am not planning on closing my account. Sometimes resetting goals, starting with your new weight can motivate people.

Never give up.

I have been on and off Spark for years, finally realized that every time I dropped the account and came back, I lost a lot of team and friend affiliations and started all over with points and things that I find fun and relaxing here, so I'd just stick with this account if I were ready for a hiatus and reset anything I wanted to reset.

Resolved in 2014 to remain below 120!

I'm with ANNROW0354 in this one. Simply set new goals. I've been here since 2007, after many failures and baby weights always reset them.

You can start a new account and that will start you over but I don't really understand how that will motivate you. Why not simply JUMP BACK IN!
Enter your new weight, reset your goals, join new teams, challenges....start over at the Fast Break Stage.

You could also work through the SparkDiet again

and consider joining the sparkcoach program (link on your MyTrackers page, upper right)

If you go to your "MyTrackers" page, at the top left is a link for account/email preferences (just above your name on the page, i think) and in there, you can reset your goals, etc. It will keep your favorite foods in your trackers but reset your goals/history reports and articles read, etc.

I have not been motivated lately and feel I want to recharge myself by restarting Spark people. I don't mind if I lose most things like teams, trophies, etc but I am hoping to keep all my favorite foods I have worked so hard to manually enter into my food tracker (I enter everything myself because then I know it is as accurate as I can get it until a food company changes their nutritional values). Is there a way to do this or will I lose everything. Starting over I will be starting at my new weight -20 lbs. less then when I began several years ago and I can set new goals, teams & etc. is there a difference in resetting Spark people and starting over again. Appreciate any advice. emoticon emoticon
