I bought mine on ebay, for $43.00. That beats $100.00 easily. But mine was defective, so I sent it back. Fitbit.com is really where, or someone who sales them Beware of private sellers, like the one I had. They sold me a bad one without me thinking it. Mine didn't shut off at nite, it tracked my sleeping(3,900 points), my clock, and movement on my dresser. I did like it though. It was a fitbit zip, attaches to your shirt. But I refuse to sleep with it. It is very easy to download into your computer too, the info just jumps in! Pretty cool! We're definitely living in the tech/computer age! Do you really need a device to get you motivated? After the novelty wears off, you'll realize that 10,000 steps is around 6 miles, I think! That's hard to do. I try to do around 2800, I think that is about1 1/4 miles. eva.

I just bought a spark activity tracker that connects with wireless to your sparkpeople account and enters everything automatically. its the size of a quarter and clips on shoes, shirts, bra's,pants etc it tracks all activity and calories burned and syncs to your spark trackers ! plus its water resistant so you can swim with it and sweating wont ruin it either. it was 59.95 on amazon with free shipping . i have tried the wrist and arm trackers and didn't like them so i just didn't wear them.

I bought mine at Brookstone, because I had a Voucher, and saved $25. I am returning mine, as I am not good at computer things. My Son in Law downloaded everything for me, but I really don't care for it. I also find it very difficult to secure the Braclet to my arm, without hurting myself. This is just my experience, others seem to like it.

I ordered my FitBit off of Amazon for $40 but I have the Zip right now. I'm considering upgrading to the Flex during Christmas though. I know you can get them at Target, Sports Authority, Brookstone & Best Buy as well ~

Hi there!!! I don't think you can get a FitBit at a Target or Walmart, but I do know you can get one at Best Buy! There are three different versions of the FitBit. As far as it being a better choice than a Spark, it just depends on what you're wanting. If you're wanting to just keep track of your steps, calories burned, and miles, the Spark would be a great choice!! It is pretty much the same as the FitBit Zip. The only difference is the Zip displays your steps on the front, and the Spark has lights that let you know progress. I ordered the Spark and started using it yesterday, and I LOVE it!! I chose it because I am sticking with SparkPeople to reach and maintain my weight loss goals, and choosing the Spark is my way to support SP for all of their valuable and life changing tools. I hope this helps you! Both choices are good ones! Good luck on your decision and your weight loss/health efforts!!
