No as I have come to realize over the years to take each day as it comes.

When I started I just let it ride until I hit a zero. Then it all changed and I started to set a goal. It might have been a 5 or a 10 or even an inch. This made a big difference to how I felt.

I must admit to still taking a year before I would look into a full length mirror and guess what I like what I saw.

Interesting question.

Losing the last couple of pounds to hit goal took forever. Once I made it I was content. I don't even have to maintain it but 145 was important to me, it meant I had lost 100#s. My real live with it goal is 145 to 150 so I'm happy.

Breaking 200 was awesome but didn't seem to be a milestone...maybe because I couldn't believe I had ever weighed that much?

Thinking about it, I don't think the actual numbers mattered as long as they were going down.

I don't know. Seriously. It always seems that as soon as I get near a "big number" like that, my weight loss slows way down and it just takes forever to get past it. Like when I went down below 200, I had been losing like 2-3 pounds a week, and then suddenly for like 3 weeks straight it was half a pound or less . . . SO ANNOYING. LOL

When it comes to weight, Numbers that end with zero seem to affect my progress.
I would think it would feel like ending a lap...
and would expect the excitement of reaching the next point.

But instead, it feels like someone stretched that goal Just a little further off. emoticon
I can imagine what Onederland is going to be like.

DOES THAT HAPPEN TO YOU...
WHETHER IT'S THE SCALE, OR A SIZE, OR A MEASUREMENT ?

[....oh don't even talk about waist measurements...I'm an apple....]
