I wouldn't consider myself an Exercise Weekend Warrior because I do a four-day split routine: Monday-Wednesday-Friday & Saturday or Sunday depending on my weekend plans.
Rock on though, sounds great!

I'm a week and weekend warrior!!! It's good that you workout when you can. Keep up the fantastic work.

I used to be like that, so I know how it is with a busy job. Now, I break it up even into 10-minute exercise segments if I need do. With a minimum of 10 minutes a day, but it's usually 20-45.

Start small, 10 minutes on a weekday after (or before) work, just to get some consistency for your body, keeping it free of surprises!!!

I work in a large orthopedic clinic ........... and injuries can occur from this type of exercise regime. Consistency is the best way to go .......... 'something frequently' ......... even if it's only 15-20 min per day. The weekend warrior action is more likely to exhaust a person. I do not know anyone to speak of who practices it ............. Just saying.

Hi sparks!

I was just wondering if any of you are like me and are exercise weekend warriors. I work a crazy job where i'm working 5-6 a week 11-12 hour days and i find it so hard to exercise during the week. I can't get up earlier as i'm too exhausted and when i get home i'm too exhausted. I try and hit it hard on the weekends like 1.5-3 hour work outs. emoticon Also, weekend warriors do you find just working out during the weekend helps improve performance and endurance? Or do you feel being more consistence during the week is better? Any suggestions? emoticon
