Usually when I start to run out of energy or crash, I go for foods that have high glycegin levels such as apples....that natural sugar picks me right back up to where I need to be.

i am like the others..............when i run out of energy i am usually hungry and bored so i get up and walk around my office for at least 5 minutes and grab a yogurt or such that feels like dessert and provides some much needed nutrition

it doesnt matter if you run slowly.........you are still running faster than someone on the couch!!!

I eat!

High fat, moderate protein and 8 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruit. It keeps me full for a long time, tastes amazing and prevents the blood sugar high and low roller coaster by eating this way.

I agree with fruit and protein....especially something like a few nuts.

but ... if most of your carbs are from starches...you may be suffering from the ups and downs of your insulin levels.

If I'm at home I'll have a banana or fromage frais. If I go walking, I take a portable snack, like a cereal bar with me.
