Thank you for your encouragement , and I know I should not weigh myself every day. I'm going to pick a day per week and weigh myself then. That's the first thing.
Other than that, I'm almost 72 years old, which I think makes it harder to lose the weigh. I've exercised all my life but I recently breathe in some very toxic fumes and had to forego ALL exercise for some 7 weeks. Obviously, I gained weight. And now, it's hard to get it off.
I weigh 143.6 right now and need to get back down to 128. I've been at it for only three weeks. I went down to 142.2 pretty quickly (from my high of 145.6), but now I'm going back up and it's frustrating.
Now that I am allowed to exercise, I am doing more and more and know what to do since I've always been active, but I'm still on lots of medication (corticosteroids, a bronchodilator, Ventolin...), so I have to be careful not to overdo.
Frustration is plaguing me right now. I need help to get motivated. I just came back from a half hour walk at about 2.7 mph, but I used to power walk an hour at 3.5/4 miles per hour.
I need to learn patience.
Thank you for any help or advice you can give me.
