I rarely drink any fruit juice any more. I stopped years ago when I realized how fast orange juice went through me.

I'd rather eat the fruit. It's more filling. And I like to CHEW my calories!

I do whole fruit and/or vege smoothies and sometimes add protein to that, but I don't do it to lose weight. I just like it.

Juicing per se (where the fiber is removed) is high in calories for me and spikes my insulin and I miss out on much of the nutrition by doing that.

Resolved in 2014 to remain below 120!

No, I eat *whole* foods. I'd rather not strip the fiber from my foods and then injest an obscene amount of carbs and cause crazy insulin spikes. I prefer a balanced meal that includes carbs, healthy fat and protein.

I lost 58 lbs because I counted *calories*. That's why you lose weight. In order to prevent eating too many calories I chose foods that help with satiety; whole, clean foods and fiber, healthy fats and lean protein.

Juicing is just another fad diet...

I really want to try juicing, but every time I come close, I feel like eating is more satisfying than drinking.....maybe all in time the stars will line up....!

I lost 15 lbs by mainly juicing and eating raw foods. It does get hard to keep up though. I used it mostly as a cleanse and since then I feel like the rest of the weight I have to lose is not being as stubborn. I feel like it helped my metabolism which was basically stuck at a certain point.

Why on earth would you want the insulin spikes that come with drinking fruit juice that has no fiber? Whole fruits and veggies and/or smoothies are how I've dropped the weight.

Nope with my training I have to eat the proteins, carbs and fats in very certain percentages....couldn't just juice

Is anyone combining Juicing with their weight loss efforts? I have a good juicer, plenty of vegetables and wheat grass growing supplies. I just can't settle on a pattern, and would like to know what others are doing.
